Toy Museum + Ebay = Inspiration

Spent a lovely day in London with the other half a few weeks ago and finally managed to get to The Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green. Such a lovely place to lose a few hours, although makes me feel really old to see Nintendo Gameboys already displayed as museum pieces!

As is normal, my interest in the museum seemed to focus on all the wind-up tin toys and vintage wooden pieces, so I have returned to the studio with a new idea in mind to use up all my lovely tin Meccano wheels I have found on ebay. Watch this space......

The complete collection....

The 'Birds of the British Isles' stamps are now gathered in a complete collection, bringing together the barn owl, puffin and grey heron along side a pheasant, cockerel and grebe. So for all you keen stamp collectors out there, they are in the shop now.

Spring's around the corner.

Myself and the delightful Mr Tozer have spent the last few days hanging the new featured artist exhibition here at Snap. For the next few months we play host to the colourful work of Jane Ormes, and on a day like today it sure does make the gallery look pretty damned peachy. Private view (including cider and tattoos) kicks off the good weather, 6pm 10th Feb if you are in the area.

Now in the Shop...

The three new 'Birds of the British Isles' stamps are now over in my shop along with the new Lovebirds. Guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

And the winner is......

Tom! I know, what a great name. Picked out at random this morning, same great name, different country. Therefore, my new, hot of the press screen prints will be whisking themselves out over the Atlantic to the god ol' US of A along with the Lovebirds. Thanks again to everyone who took part, and better luck next time. Below are the new prints that Tom will be receiving in the not to distant future. I hope you like them, and if you do, take a peek in the shop tomorrow to get your grubby hands on them!
