It's always a bit strange to be asked to create a series of Christmas cards in the height of summer, but when the people asking are the lovely folks at Hello!Lucky, I was more than happy to get my festive head on. They were also keen for me to create a few more stamp themed designs, so my three cards carry a red cardinal, snowy owl and an arctic fox to get you in a wintery mood. Some days start like any other day. You get up, bleary eyed, shower, have breakfast and drag your tired body into another tedious day of paper pushing and number crunching. Other days, the lovely people over at Prema commission you to paint a metre high rocket! It's these days that makes me realise I have the best job in the world. It was a really fun project to work on and I am really happy with the results, and from what I hear, it has been getting good comments from people who have spotted it sitting outside Prema.
